Advocacy for the Pharmacy Industry and Pharmacy Professionals

MPA is your advocate
on a state level at the Montana Legislature.  Throughout each legislative session members of MPA receive timely legislative updates from our office staff that detail the bills we are working on as well as information on how to contact state lawmakers to voice your opinion.  View a current list of bills being tracked during the 2023 Legislative Session.

MPA is your advocate on a national level.  MPA works with Montana's congressional delegation and other national pharmacy associations to help pass federal legislation that will benefit pharmacy professionals and the industry as well as fight to defeat legislation that is detrimental.

MPA speaks out at state rule hearings.  MPA's executive director and board members attend rule hearings to speak on rules being proposed for existing legislation.  Best practices and input from the profession is the basis of testimony presented.

MPA is your representative at the Board of Pharmacy.  MPA's executive director and board members attend regular meetings of the Montana Board of Pharmacy and regularly speak out on matters involving CE rules, licensing fees, the rights of pharmacies to control what drugs they dispense and more.
